Kent Music is a music education charity committed to providing music opportunities to individuals, schools and groups across Kent, through individual lessons; whole class instrumental teaching; local and county-wide ensembles and choirs; teacher training; and through creating and supporting special music projects and events.
- Partnerships: as the lead partner for the Music Education Hub in Kent, we work with other music providers to deliver a range of opportunities through special projects, concerts, workshops and events
- Schools: we employ teachers to deliver whole class instrumental teaching, provide funding for primary and secondary schools and run professional development training
- Groups: we run ensembles and choirs for young people and adults through our local music centres, as well as county-level youth choirs and orchestras. Our Summer School is in its 70th year and offers residential courses for young people to come together and make music
- Tuition: we employ teachers to deliver one-to-one and small group music lessons in schools and music centres
