The Royal Engineers Museum, Library & Archive is a military engineering museum and library in Gillingham, Medway, South East England. The Museum tells the story of the Corps of Royal Engineers and British military engineering in general.
The RE Museum and Library hold over 500,000 objects relating to the history of the Corps of Royal Engineers and the development of military engineering.
Our Learning Team offers a range of cross curricular ‘Inspiring Learning Sessions’ designed to stimulate interest in not only History but also STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). Led by experienced museum education staff, the sessions focus on the Royal Engineers Museum’s varied collections and cater for a variety of age groups and provide a hands-on, multi-sensory experience. Your learners will have the opportunity to see, discuss and handle original historical objects, and to undertake creative projects.
